Main Station Building:

Stationmasters Office:

The Office has a large map for route planning, a telephone and a second telephone point available on request. It is suitable for planning and Leaders meetings. Wireless broadband is available in the office.

Main Hall:

The hall is suitable for seating up to 32 for dining or can be used as a flexible space.

Sun Lounge:

An enclosed area under the Station canopy overlooking the loch. It can seat up to 32 for dining or as a casual seating space. A sliding partition enables separation into two rooms.  

Kitchen and Larder:

Provided with ample equipment to feed ninety and plentiful storage space. A full inventory of the kitchen equipment is available to download. 

First Aid Room:

There is a First Aid room in a separate cabin at the end of the station buildings, with a bed and washbasin.  First Aid equipment is not supplied and it is the responsibility of each group to make appropriate provision.

Drying Room:

There is a large drying room with fan heaters and a dehumidifier controlled by a timer. 

Boat House:

Originally built to repair boats, it can be used to store a limited amount of equipment during your stay and has a large commercial upright freezer for use if required.

AV Equipment:

Kept in the Sun Lounge is a 40” TV on a wheeled stand, with DVD player and cables to connect a laptop. This can also be used in the main hall.

Toilets:

In the main Station building there are both male and female toilets and showers. There are additional toilets within the communal facilities.

Additionally to the main station you get the following indoor sleeping accommodation as follows:

Cabins:

Four Finnish log cabins with bunk beds.

Two smaller Finnish cabins.

On the platform there are two cabins, with a common porch area.  Each has separate bunks and a sitting area.

Porters Lodge:

Brick built and Pine lined, comprising two rooms.

Please note: Bedding is NOT supplied.

Camping:

There is also space for camping with the main station. Additional camping can be found on the sidings. This can either be booked with the station or independently when the Station is not booked for exclusive use. Camp fees include use of the toilets and showers, but exclude other Station facilities.

The “Ranger” cabin:

Is a separate bookable facility. 

Toilets and Showers:

Adjacent to the log cabins is a communal toilet/shower block with separate male and female provision.  Situated within this block is a wet room for those with additional needs.
